KYRGYZSTAN: On Saturday, Kyrgyz authorities detained an Uzbek citizen in connection with a bombing in the southern city of Osh two days earlier. On Thursday, a homemade explosive went off at an exchange bureau, killing one person. Kyrgyz authorities have blamed the bombing on members of the banned Islamic movement Hizb-ut-Tahrir.
